About

The Chord Progression Library is a valuable resource for guitarists suffering from the old “writer’s block”. It’s not easy coming up with original chord progressions, so I hope you can find some inspiration here!

Listen to the chord progressions and, if you like the sound of them, try and work them into your own rhythm and style. Build on them by adding techniques such as hammer-ons and pull-offs, bends, chord phrasing etc.

For example, if one of the chords is A minor, play around with that chord in the progression to see how you can spice it up (e.g. add/remove fingers/notes to the chord shape).

The progressions on this site are your base. Make of them what you will!

I hope you find the inspiration you need for crafting that perfect song on guitar.

Mike
